Change meetup.com banner to OpenSMC logo #11

Open jridener opened 8 years ago

jridener commented 8 years ago

Old SMC Civic Tech banner is on our Meetup.com page: http://www.meetup.com/opensmc/. We have a logo (attached to issue) that should replace this banner.

New banner should be 960 px wide by 150 px tall.

John (jridener@opensmc.org, @jridener on slack) or Michelle (mlittlefield@opensmc.org or @mlittlefield on slack) can add the banner image to the meetup page. Notify one or both of them when the banner is created. banner smallgraphic_wordmark

When we finalized our choices for the big and small logos a few weeks ago, we discussed testing the large-format logo (as shown here) in shades of blue to tie in better with the small-format blue hexagon. The blue hexagon is #056cb6 (SMC's "bay blue"), and the other two SMC style-guide blues are #38939b ("ocean turquoise") and #0076c0 (an unnamed darker blue). Any chance we could get a shades of blue version for this? Alternatively, if we can get a vectorized version of the lines (.ai or .svg), I could convert the colors myself.

Andrew is in the website slack channel @akenmore I believe. He's the one who can provide the files or new files with the blues. On Tue, Mar 8, 2016 at 11:01 AM Jessica Parsons notifications@github.com wrote:
