Review the zoning code for East Palo Alto: https://www.municode.com/library/ca/east_palo_alto/codes/code_of_ordinances?nodeId=EAST_PALO_ALTO_CALIFORNIA to see if the zoning code allows residents to keep animals (especially chickens), bees, or have gardens located anywhere on their property.

We're looking at residential areas only, so zoning designations likely start with "R - "
