Prepare for a release #19

There's only been one pre-release long ago, we need to move to a proper semantically version release procedure. I'm starting preparations for a first release.

Issues to be solved for the first one:

[x] Improve logging and error handling #17

A first release of the status-quo has been done (v0.2), I'm working on an improved release with the improved logging and error handling now, which is in the git master tree. (still requires some testing)
