Hi @tryggvib I will be glad to submit this to WordPress. All I need from you is the following: "Plugin URL (required; must be a link to a ZIP file of the working plugin that includes a completed readme.txt)"

Can you help me with that and I can then submit it to WP for approval.

Plugin request submitted today to WordPress with the following text, and is now pending review:

"The OpenSpending plugin enables users to create visualisations of any dataset available in OpenSpending [1] directly on the WordPress site. The current version supports two types of visualisations: Treemap (type: "treemap") and Bubbletree (type: "bubbletree"). You can create a visualisation of budget or spending data by adding the data on OpenSpending [2]. If you need support go to our help section [3] or ping us on the mailing list [4]. You can also reach us directly via mail [5] or twitter [6]. We would love to hear from you!

Example: For use case of the plugin see this site from Nicaragua using the Treemap [7] and Bubbletree [8].

About OpenSpending; OpenSpending is a free and open source toll that enables users to add, analyse and visualise budget and spending data. Our aim is to track every government financial transaction across the world and present it in useful and engaging forms for everyone from a school-child to a data geek. OpenSpending is a project of the Open Knowledge Foundation [9].
