Currently, is this possible globally (whole system) or just within the device, or just within a register within the app?

Currently, just within the register in the device, but the other functionality you mention might be in place in the backend (I think it is). @maina can confirm. We'll likely need a new search interface (probably not too unlike what we mocked up for Jilinde project).

There will likely be a single child register in the app for this project, with perhaps service modes for immunization and nutrition. Might be a stock register as well. We'll need to discuss with team next week.

We'll need some extra functionality to be implemented for the global search to work

List of search fields are below (all from Birth Registration form):

ZEIR_ID First_Name Last_Name Mother_Guardian_Name Mother_Guardian_NRC Mother_Guardian_Number Date_Birth (this should support a range of dates, i.e., the user should be able to specify a start and end date for the birth date in case exact birthdate is not known)

@rowo to provide the final mockup for this.

Child_Register_Card_Number should be searchable from the register view, but not in the advanced or global search.
