@openstaxalina I've completed American Government and Sociology 2e and noted the problems on the spreadsheet. There's a glaring issue with Sociology 2e...none of our content is there! If you click on any of the content links, they direct to empty pages. You may want to point this out to the contact and I can review when that's resolved.
@brittweinstein did Mindy resolve the issue with Sociology loading?
also - are there any outstanding issues I need to inform Mindy of?
@openstaxalina it looks like this is resolved now. I'll test Soc 2e today, add my feedback to the spreadsheet and close the issue when it's finished if that's alright with you?
@brittweinstein that sounds good. please make sure to alert Mindy Boland, mindy@iskme.org, when testing has completed. Please let her know she can contact us if needed for questions, etc.
Final feedback sent to Mindy 09/13/17.
OER Commons has started importing our books, but has noticed some styling/import issues. For each book below, please comparison test (against PDF or web view, I am not sure) the “front matter” (beginning of book through the preface), two book chapters, and all end-of-book material.
Please note any issues in the "Rice U Review" tab of this spreadsheet.

Full background on the issue (from Mindy at OERC): Overall we have seen pretty clean imports, however, there are some design aspects of the books that are not importing as cleanly as we would like, for example tables and boxed features currently require some manual clean up. The link above is to the complete Sociology 2e on OER Commons. I have cleaned up the first section, however, there is more to be done. The other titles are currently only available on our Staging site. I would be able to make that available if needed.
What I would like to propose is that someone at OpenStax take a pass through each of these titles and catalog the programmatic issues they find. Things like the tables/boxes displaying incorrectly, for example. My hope is that ISKME can update our import script so that we are displaying those items in a way that is more clear to users. Do you all have anyone on your side who might be able to do that sort of editorial proofing? We're really looking for global changes at this point. I feel that if someone at OpenStax could do this review not only would the courseware tool benefit, but you all would also have a deeper understanding of our courseware system and more control over how the books are being displayed.
