@mwest-WWprod could your teams please apply the following markup, test in PDF and webview formats, and confirm this resolves the issue?
<i> text in italics </i>
(Note: While the above pertains to Entrepreneurship, we will have an update on tomorrow's call regarding this change to the Tutor platform for APUSH.)
@openstaxalina yes we'll test this - for reference our team noted this in their proofread and had the following response:
Since this was added within CNX Server and not CNXML, italics is not supported in the platform.
@mwest-WWprod that's correct - italics were not previously supported in module titles. We recently started supporting them when they were requested for APUSH.
@openstaxalina we have tested this in PDF and webview, please see below
@openstaxalina FYI I added an example of another media title in a link to the main ticket, title updated as well
@mwest-WWprod italics are only possible in anchor text if the entire anchor text (and the URL) are italicized using italics tags outside the link tags.
Per today's call, we will use content workaround of quotation marks in both instances ("Field of Dreams" and "How I Built This"). @mwest-WWprod straight quotation marks must be used (not curly quotation marks). Please close this issue once your teams have been able to implement markup and verify this resolves the issue.
Italics occurs in this book in Chapter 11 Module 1 Entrepreneurship
If possible we should enable italics in module titles/TOC/links; the Chapter 11 Module 1 refers to the film Field of Dreams, while 'How I Built This' refers to a podcast (this is contained in links).
