Serial port not found on Ubuntu #1684

Describe your issue I'm trying to connect an ecosteno (nolltronics) to my Ubuntu (22.04) laptop. I connected via usb c cable and can see it detected in 'dmesg' output. When I switch plover machine to Gemini, I'm getting a warning that no serial port was found. I added my user to the dialout group and restarted my laptop, but I'm still getting the same message. What else should I be doing?

That warning sounds like you haven't selected a serial port yet. You should be able to go into configuration → machine, and then open the ports list and select the Ecosteno.

Did you try a different physical port? I noticed my steno keyboard online works from one usb and not the other.
