noob mode #206

I'm going to suggest enabling support for a "noob mode". With noob mode, presses of a single key output normally. Only key combinations are interpreted as steno.

Also, the steno could optionally be displayed on the screen as an overlay when it detects the user typed a word normally.

It's a neat suggestion, but I don't think it would work in practice. Some steno chords are just single key presses, such as "w" for with, "t" for it, "-T" for the.

Additionally, when typing in QWERTY, one does not tend to only hit one key at a time. Even slower typists will press two keys at once if they are typing a word they use often. You would have to type surgically in order to spell out words, and you may as well just learn to finger spell if you take that route.

That's my 2 cents.

Well the ojective is at least to allow people who can not type steno to learn some words before jumping all in.
