Something for tracking typing ratio would be great, too (typing ratio the time it takes to transcribe an audio recording divided by the length of the audio).
Something for streamlining the process of making dictionary suggestions, built right into Plover itself. I'm thinking it would include ways both to make and accept suggestions.
Thanks to Stenovations' download page and the Way Back Machine, I have roughly 50 digitalCAT dictionaries on my Mac, where I installed several years ago digitalCAT running under Wine, which gives me access to their most excellent tool, the Dictionary Maintenance Program -- which the curious can read about here:

I use these dictionaries when I need a better outline for a word or phrase than what I have in my active dictionaries ... so essentially, it might be a good idea to adjust Plover so that it can load a given number of dictionaries that are NOT being used for translation, but ARE available to be searched for appropriate outlines in the Suggestions window.
Summary
As I practice/drill steno there are plug-ins that I would love to have as learning aids:
Just some ideas that come to the top of my head that might help us learn steno better/faster that could leverage the plug-in system for anyone who is looking for a reason to write a plug-in
If you have other/better ideas for plug-ins or would like to critique them please add your comments here.
Thanks, Robert
