Video content not shown on Android TV #185

What is the issue or idea you have? The secure virtual display works on my smartphone (e.g. I can see the streams from Netflix), but on my TV(Sony KDXD8005 Android 7.0) the content is black. The following content is black in the minicap stream:

Have you tried STF?

Sorry, not so far. Do you think this might be covered in STF? Then I'd try. But I assume this is a general issue.

I did some investigations and my guess would be that it's related to Widevine. The TV has L1, my smartphone just L3.

But in my case Mi LED TV 4A PRO 32 is showing only black screen. Any idea?

i have same problem as you。 and i tried scrcpy, it works well on android 7.0 but also fail to show video content under android 6.0.
