Open the Mapillary overlay and it will barely be visible on the left-hand side of the page, seemingly behind the inspector sidebar. Closing the sidebar, the overlay slides to the left as well, remaining hidden.

Could you try hovering over the visible white area with the close and add image buttons? Hovering over the corner or the sides should change your cursor from a pointer to a two-way arrow, dragging to the right slightly should resolve the size of the viewer panel. The panel becomes small -or image wrongly positioned- when resizing your browser, or zooming in too far.

Duplicate of #10449

Sidenote: In the current live version (2.30.2) you may also experience the map data being wrongly positioned when street level imagery is selected, see #10417. This will be resolved in the next update (2.31.0).

That does pop it back into place. This issue cropped up for me after I cleared my site data for osm.org, so I assumed it was a bug that was introduced in a recent update.
