Wiki documentation image not showing #8845

How to reproduce the issue?

Don't know if this was already brought up, but I searched and didn't find it so here it goes.

When clicking on the "i" for more info on an element, the image shown is always from the main wiki page. For example, wiki item https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Item:Q5350 has an image limited to Portuguese, but that image doesn't show on iD. Instead, it shows the generic image. This also happens with the tag historic=pillory, for example -> https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Item:Q6103 a1Oz0FmAkW

Am I doing something wrong or is this a problem with iD? (or the wiki)

Not sure about data items, but OSM Wiki works fine: see https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Pt:Tag:memorial%3Dbust

The problem is not in the wiki, but in iD. This was working about a year ago, but now it's not. See your example in iD and how the image is not loading the Portuguese version: firefox_4bAgImdlUU

This is a duplicate of #6228. This feature hasn’t been implemented yet.

Thanks, @1ec5. Anyway, I'm pretty sure this already worked before, because I made changes to some wiki items and they showed in iD.
