USGS Imagery gone #9515

On https://github.com/osmlab/editor-layer-index/issues I tried to file:

https://github.com/openstreetmap/iD/blob/develop/FAQ.md#how-can-i-report-an-issue-with-background-imagery seems to say to report this here.

I am at https://www.openstreetmap.org/edit#map=12/51.7138/-177.5641 and if I click USGS Imagery, the screen goes black.

But then I got "You can't perform that action at this time."

The USGS Imagery layer generally works for me, but not in this location over Alaska. This MapServer description page says:

For Alaska, 10-meter resolution SPOT imagery is provided for viewing.

If that used to be visible but is no longer visible, it may be necessary to contact USGS.

I don't know if it used to be visible or not. So I can't answer that question.
