Q: How to scroll along the map? #247

I'm surprised that Merkartoor doesn't provide built-in toolbars to move along the map. A simple drag to move up/down/right/left instead of select the entity. A navigation that doesn't cause accidental change to the map.

Is it hidden or just not available?

Hi!

Merkaartor requires the right button to be pressed when dragging, which pans the map. There is no separate tool to help you with that, but you can use the "Select" tool which should not have any side-effects even if you click some feature by mistake.

Does that fit your needs?

@Krakonos ... What about enabling the github's "Discussions" feature for merkaartor's repo here?

Maybe that can be a cozy home for questions like this one?
