Top-right user dropdown menu needs "My Edits" added #1088

To a regular mapper, I would have thought that a link to "My Edits" is far more important than "My Messages" and "My Settings". I certainly find myself needing to go back to edits time and again.

Could a direct link be added?

It was kept deliberately short, compared to the everything-but-the-kitchen-sink approach of the previous design.

Pretty sure there are previous tickets where various extra things have been asked for on that menu and they have all been rejected.

Looking at your own edits doesn't seem like a very common thing anyway - other people sure but why look at your own? Of course the problem is that everybody has their own particular thing that is "common" to them and assumes that everybody else will be the same.

I agree with that principle of UI design.

I take your point that everyone is different; I certainly find myself trying to find previous edits quite a bit; perhaps I'm unusual. Perhaps if you have analytics it would be worth considering the popularity of different routes through the site.

NB That organisational account is not the only account I edit under.

I use messages and my edits often. If i want to look at a recently changed area, the "my edit" is the quickest way i could imagine. Yes, keeping the list short is important, but for example settings are nearly never called.
