Problem

The current title does not capture the essence and encourages misuse

Description

  1. The name does not imply that you can use it to report errors
  2. The current name causes people to leave personal notes on the map.

What similar buttons look like on other mapping sites:

The choice of name was completely deliberate because it's for suggesting improvements as well as reporting errors.

deevroman commented 9 months ago

Therefore, after clicking, in the text it is suggested to report some problem or incompleteness in the data?

I'm not suggesting renaming notes to errors. Cartographers know that notes can be used to suggest improvements and will continue to use them as well. But anonymous users and beginners will understand this button correctly.

You can be an experienced user and know what notes are but rarely use the website to place them. If one day you decide to add a note using the website, you'll look for a button that has a label/tooltip with the word "note" in it. Renaming the button to something else is not going to help you in this case.
