Option to include marker on Image export #5500

The link Share function has an "Include marker" option.

The Image export function does not. It would be great if it did so that clubs and small businesses can include static location maps on their sites.

Thanks for the suggestion. It's a good idea, but it's unlikely to be implemented any time soon.

The process that creates the image exports can be found at https://github.com/openstreetmap/chef/blob/master/cookbooks/tile/templates/default/export.erb - that would be the place to start in order to implement it. But it's more realistic to use third-party services for this usecase.
