As Shaun says, it looks like it is dropping it because it collides with the power icon. Not sure if that is reasonable in this case - dropping a station is nasty, but a collision would be ugly.

Moved station symbols and station names so that they draw earlier and thus take precedence in clashes

Some rails station names are not shown in mapnik, even so they are shown in osmarender and the data looks correct.
I'll add examples as I come across them. Malden Manor: http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=51.3842&lon=-0.2618&zoom=14&layers=0BFT Osmarender, renders fine. http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=51.3842&lon=-0.2618&zoom=14&layers=B0FT Mapnik, NOT shown, even so others surrounding stations are.
