Chrome Web Store says "extension does not follow best practices from Chrome extensions" #1840

Bug Description

My company use a managed version of Chrome with a policy to only allow reliable extension from Chrome web store. The Stylus extension is not installable because "This extension may soon no longer be supported because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions." .

Chrome web store url : https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/stylus/clngdbkpkpeebahjckkjfobafhncgmne Our security administrator are very stricts, and they do not want to do exception for any extension. Is it something that can be easily fixed on the Stylus extension side, or is it a deep internal change to do on the extension ? Thank you.

You can install Stylus beta.

Thank you for the tip. I will check with the team managing Chrome extension if they allo "beta" version.
