getting: error searching for subtitles #24

kodi version 21.0 Opensubtitles version 1.0.4

I have tried the following situations Install Opensubtitles1.0.4 from the plugin repository Install Opensubtitles1.0.4 from zip

Tried both ways Fill in username and password Fill in email and password (All copied and filled in)

Will prompt an error What do I need to do to troubleshoot the error?

Well since we can't access your machine or see your screen, we'll need to know the errors you get....

The "error searching subtitles" is the generic catch all, just means an error occured.

Try to have a look at the log https://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file most of the time it's just file access errors

if you can't figure out what the log is saying you can send it to us https://www.opensubtitles.com/en/contact.html

Note also, first thing to try with the extension is without username and password, it has to work for 5 free downloads.

then there is never a reason to put the email in the username field. it's only for the username.
