Through the facility claims process, the stakeholder management team becomes aware of duplicate facilities in the tool. (There are some instances in which facility owners / senior management claim duplicate profiles without reporting them as duplicates. The need to merge is confirmed through an exchange with the individual that's claimed the profiles.)
Once the facilities have been merged, they only partially update in the Facility Claims Dashboard. These two claims now both point to the same facility:
Expected Behavior
Should one of the facility claims disappear?
Although both facility claims remain in the tool, the Facility Claim Review Notes do not duplicate across both claims. It is also not possible to Approve both instances of the Facility Claim.
Actual Behavior
An error message appears following attempts to approve the claim on the second entry:
The second facility claim remains in the "Pending" state.
