Add a mechanism within the OAR to email fellow contributors at facilities regarding collaboration in facilities.

This suggestion came in the form of a question during a webinar the stakeholder engagement team ran for FFC members. We were explaining how the OAR creates opportunities for more efficient collaboration by knowing which other organisations have a connection to the same facilities. A participant asked whether there's the option to click "email contributor" on a facility profile, which there currently is not, but would be a great user development.

Add mechanism to "email contributor", which would create a pop-up with the email address of the relevant contributor automatically in the "to" field.

Additional Context

Do we need to investigate consent issues that the email address used to register accounts on the OAR can be used in this way?

Adding some new thoughts here, off the back of a stakeholder engagement discussion from today. We are getting this request with some frequency - from the civil society side, they want to be able to reach out to organizations connected to facilities. Some MSIs and service providers want to be more reachable. And with new legislation coming, having access to grievance mechanisms for brands is going to grow as a priority.

There's probably more ideation to be done here, but some thoughts from our discussion on this:

• As a low lift solution, we can continue to act as a connector for orgs if they ask about a specific user. We can reach out to that user and ask if they're ok with being connected with another. We've done this before and it resulted in some good impact.
• As a medium solution, we're curious about exploring the UX around the contributor pages on our platform. Both when orgs are creating contributor accounts but also then the findability of those pages later: if we can make that easier, then orgs can at least put links to their grievance mechanisms/contact pages if they want to be reachable.
• At the larger end of things, happy to continue to discussion what building a collaboration tool might look like, knowing there are a number of tradeoffs to consider.
