Anyway, I think we don't need extra function parameters for multiple functions. I have pushed a tentative patch to my "tip" branch, please check it out: https://github.com/openSUSE/multipath-tools/commit/3eb8205ccd0fdd40f822fc1cf9a22e6f3d122d43

@boposki, why is this issue closed? I can't see a solution in #45. Have you tried my patch mentioned above?

I posted the patch above (3eb8205) to dm-devel, "libmpathpersist: use conf->timeout for updating persistent reservations"

This should be fixed by fa315e6, currently on https://github.com/openSUSE/multipath-tools/tree/queue
