I've asked ""Please answer these two questions with a YES or NO -- so we can finally and explicit and clear information -- instead of your vague ambiguous FAQs and more non-answers via email.""

1) Is it true that the LCB has forbidden any automation at all of the forms at: https://lcb.wa.gov/manifest ? Yes 2) Can we, OpenTHC or any other vendor, automate, to the extent possible, completion of the forms at https://lcb.wa.gov/manifest ? No, not at this time

From LCB: WSLCB is currently not authorized to remove the CAPTCHA or any other security policies surrounding CCRS. We cannot say to you, or to any other interested party, that it is ok to automate any aspect of data entry if it violates the security of the system. If we discover any violation of system security we will take appropriate action. Please remember that integrators represent licensees and the licensee is responsible for any violation especially if it compromises data in the system.

WSLCB’s current focus on supporting the entire licensee community and ensuring they are able to login and remain compliant within the system. That is nearly 1900 unique logins and we are only about 40% of that at this time. Until we can verify that all users can login and use the system, that will remain the focus of the CCRS team.

That being said, we are also very interested in what will make this system better. We hear and understand the frustrations that people are experiencing with the system as is. We have already incorporated suggested improvements prior to the “Go Live” and will continue to do so as time moves on. We will take and welcome any and all system/process improvement suggestions and vet them. If they are sustainable and appropriate we will make them happen in future releases.

I am fully in support of automating any aspect of the process to make it better for all as long as it doesn’t violate system security. If you have suggestions surrounding that issue please send it in and I will ensure the team takes a look at it and will also run it by OCS/OCIO.

Please remember that our focus is on support of the licensee community right now and getting everyone logged in and using the system as is. We will focus on improvements to the processes and the system as a whole when it is appropriate.

The LCB has implemented a CSV upload for this feature.
