Open Ezzz-dev opened 10 years ago
I can speak only for myself, I still plan to make some contributions to "legacy" otserv. I have some patches ready to be applied, just being too lazy/busy for regular development at the last months. I intend to become a more active in a near future. But I don't have plans to commit in otrevscriptsys, at all.
I do plan to update it as well, however, I wouldn't mind to get few extra developers for both branches.
If you or anyone else is up for a task, let me know.
I can help for either branches, but someone would have to tell me what has to be done for me to look at it :)
Would be nice to update legacy dev branch to latest version of Tibia , tfs is now more open-source so it shouldn't be a problem to port protocol changes.
TwistedScorpio would you like to do that ?since I have seen you doing quite sucesfull downgrade to 7.7
I didnt get the idea yet, can we add features to the game with this code? such perks or new classes?
I believe that making revsys usable would be interesting.
I would do that myself, but I really suck at LUA scripting so I gave that up. When I say "usable" I mean creating example scripts for npcs, monsters, actions, etc.

Seems like it, yes. However I would think that if someone wants to work on it as long it follows the Tibia standards (as I remember no extra things as classes would be in the this repos).
However I could be wrong. Been a while.
OTServ is dead. TFS is the future and is more optimized, OTServ works as a base for programmers to look into.
Is it dropped? I can still see Iryont committing in the code from otrevscriptsys, like what?
