What happened?

You should be able to cast a spell while standing by the stairs

Validated in tibia rl and there is no such possibility!

Wrong. Cast exori min with stairs in middle of spell, it will cast on global and here say not enough room. Or use a solid wall, or whatever nob-walkable item you can find. It will then block that sqm and any behind it from spell effect, aka line of sight. But the other sqm it does its effect/dmg on.
