[Request] Add support for more scanner models #126

This is a follow-up to https://github.com/opentoonz/opentoonz/issues/1039. Another person asked for extended compatibility today: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!category-topic/opentoonz_en/feature-requests/TilZB1bOeAQ. @shun-iwasawa & @masafumi-inoue How complicated would it be to add support for additional scanner models, such as the Epson GT-15000? Thank you!

About additional support of scanner model

TWAIN used in GTS is a technical standard, so any TWAIN compliant scanner model should work, but it does not seem to work. I do not know why the problem will occur except for the DS-50000. It is necessary to prepare the actual machine and the TWAIN driver corresponding to that machine and verify the operation. Since we do not have any actual machine other than DS-50000, we can not verify other scanner models.

GTSで利用しているTWAINは技術標準なので、TWAIN対応のスキャナモデルならどれも動作するはずなのですが、そうはいかないようです。 なぜDS-50000以外で問題が起こるのかは分かりません。 実際のマシンとそのマシンに対応したTWAINドライバーを用意して動作検証する必要があります。 私たちはDS-50000以外の実際のマシンを持っていないので、他のスキャナモデルについて検証ができません。

My scanner doesn't work too.. both in Linux and Windows. (Sane and TWAIN) If I'm remembering right, RETAS only worked with limited Epson scanners. Same for GTS maybe?

RETAS does not publish the source code, so I do not know how to limit the scanner. I think that the limitations of GTS and RETAS scanners are probably not the same. ... Please tell me the situation that does not work. What is the manufacturer's name (Epson?) Of scanner, model name, driver version? Does the scanner error occur when launching GTS?

My Scanner model is HP-Scanjet-G4010. Both in Windows and Linux, it works fine alone, but it cannot work with GTS. Using GTS in linux with it even made an scratching noise inside the scanner after the failure.

@masafumi-inoue Currently, what scanners work with GTS?

We are confirmed to work in 'EPSON DS-50000' in Japan. I think that other Epson scanners will probably work
