I bought the domain name http://gtfsdb.com, and created associated project space. (Put the space up on Google Code, as courtesy to the shepherds of the GTFS process.

Frank, given that we're using the GTFS library that's been factored out of onebusaway (#21), I'm inclined to close this ticket. Or is this something you're still interested in working on? Do you see any reason to have a separate GTFS DB format (cf. to what we're doing now, which is importing GTFS and compiling directly into the serialized graph)?

Eventually would like to get a GTFSDB created (for OTP, TTPUB, other projects). Mike G. has done some good work to start. But for OTP (right now, at least), this project is not necessary.
