The all protective arts off to evoke might make it too difficult to actually evoke. This should be opened for discussion.
Agreed with that, Koiware. I might suggest that Invisibility and Chamele be off, but other arts allowed?
Closing due to policy change.
Until further notice I will only be applying bug fixes via OpenUL.
Until Koi can come up with a sensible procedure for indicating what requests are approved and, thus, worth my time in implementing, I'm not prepared to waste your time or mine on neato whizzbang features.
If this is a problem, then I'd suggest you speak to your friendly KoiWare, LLC representative and ask them to define a sensible procedure for the submission of feature requests. I am not willing to accept ad-hoc GM PMs as a form of approval any longer.
Player Strike Art - that works only on GMs or primarily DMs The art is acquired thru a lore item - Taught by Lore Item Teacher Art is lost once successfully evoked (not on a Failure), RPing the hunt for the Lore Item again Art causes 1pt focal elemen loss. (instead of DreamSoul loss) Dreamwide Annoucement upon Success All protection arts must be off to evoke - Putting the player in danger whilst evoking (this will help prevent an evoker from standing in a corner pre-evoking the art) - alternative would be the art can only successfully start evoking when it detects a Soulsphere (GM) character in the room -again preventing pre-evoke
The thought is this would allow players some high-end power for defeating DMs or Antagonist GMs. It wont make them an ongoing threat as the art is lost once use successfully, allowing other players to be able to acquire this short term power.
