Is there a description or visual that shows the workflow of identity and the steps taken to connect and read mdocs with it?

I'm not aware of any publicly available slidedecks for this. If you don't mind reading standards, all the steps are described in ISO/IEC 18013-5:2021. You can also reader appverifier in our repo which implements this standard.
