Tracy Kuhrt is a Technology Architect and Open Source Lead within Accenture’s Innovation team with 25+ years of experience covering the entire software development lifecycle. Tracy has been contributing to different open source projects since 1997 and involved in leading open source foundations since 2017. Tracy also currently serves as the chair of both the OpenWallet Foundation Technical Advisory Council and the Hyperledger Technical Oversight Committee.
Short Personal Pitch
I would like to nominate myself -- Tracy Kuhrt -- to continue to serve as the OpenWallet Foundation (OWF) Technical Advisory Council (TAC) Chair. I am a Technology Architect at Accenture, where I focus on architecting and implementing blockchain, decentralized identity, and wallet solutions. I am also the Open Source Lead for the Innovation team, where I educate people on contributing to open source projects and have worked closely with our teams at Accenture to contribute internal assets to Hyperledger –- Hyperledger Cacti (formerly Cactus) and Hyperledger Bevel -- and hope to do similar within the OWF.
During the past year as chair of the TAC, I have fulfilled the responsibilities of (1) chairing the TAC meetings, including setting up and publishing an agenda, running the meetings, and ensuring any outcomes are duly recorded and (2) representing the TAC, and more broadly the OpenWallet Foundation technical community, on the Governing Board, and giving updates to the Governing Board on TAC activities. Together, we have accomplished setting up the TAC website, establishing governance (including our project lifecycle procedures and processes amongst others), onboarding two growth projects and 10 labs, forming 4 special interest groups and 1 task force. In addition to my role as chair of the TAC, I have also been leading the work within the Architecture special interest group.
I would be honored to continue serving as the OpenWallet Foundation Technical Advisory chair and will strive to make the community even stronger. Thank you for your consideration.
Communities are stronger when
everyone is welcome and people feel like they belong.
there is a diverse set of opinions.
we push each other out of our comfort zones.
we listen and learn from others (be those others in the community or outside of the community).
