Hi, I am trying to add support for Linksys EA8100-AH (MT7621 soc with dual MT7615N) The AC speed is about 50~150Mbps when connected to Oneplus 6, but the original firmware can do around 350Mbps (Tested on Channel 36) Thanks! Seems like this is the same issue when I try to add support for Linksys EA7500-V2 (#305 )

I noticed that in LUCI, Network -> Wireless -> Associated Stations, it is only showing

RX Rate / TX Rate 6.0 Mbit/s, 20MHz 585.1 Mbit/s, 80MHz, VHT-MCS 6, VHT-NSS 2, Short GI

it this normal?

I also noticed that the TX speed (from Router to device) is very good while rx speed (from device to Router) is slow

Please try the latest revision of OpenWrt master or 19.07. I've fixed a critical issue in hostapd.

Thanks! but I rebuilt and tested the latest master, unfortunately the problem is still here

Another interesting thing to note is my phone is only reporting a Transmit link speed fluctuating between 117~468Mbps (Receive link speed is normal at 866Mbps)

I would like to confirm the low transmission speeds on the latest release

I have a Strong brand AC1200 router (mine is actually hootoo but its identical) and even have the second CPU enabled (it comes populated but not enabled)

I still get average speeds below 250.

I would like to confirm low 5GHz Speed on my Xiaomi R3P pro on 19.07.3

My Speed differences,

The speed drop is very consistently stuck at around 300 Mbps..I think its something to do with mt76

Its better to rename this issue sa mt7615 Slow 5GHz AC Speed (as it is common to many routers)
