Description:

Could you please update sane-backends package to more recent version? Package is currently stuck at version 1.0.32 (released in 2021-02-14), while the latest version 1.2.1 was released 2023-02-05

I can update it but I don't have a HW to test it anymore. Would you like to become the new maintainer? As it is a large update, I would need, at least, a tester.
