@rlaager, I have the following issue with the Debian Bookworm Root on ZFS HOWTO:
Does the troubleshooting section apply to replacing a failing disk? I replaced a disk without doing all the steps in the troubleshooting process, and the disk is working, but there are some differences in the way the disk is listed in e.g. /dev/disk/by-id/.
A section on disk replacement might be good for those of us who are smart enough to read and follow instructions, but not smart enough to write the instructions. :-)
