Sorry about that. This is a duplicate of #3904, there was a fix recently merged to master,. You can cherry-pick 1b8951b319b7bcddfe0cc2408b7717f9ce3d758b if you need a fix now. It's also already been merged to the release branch for the next point release.

Nothing to be sorry about, these things happens. I should apologize for the noise generated by not finding the older issue.
I've just upgraded the RAM on this little unit from 2GB to 8GB, which I think should keep me out of the water until the repo maintainer decides to update the ZoL repo to a version with the fix. (Or the Debian maintainers upload zfs-dkms et al. to the main Debian repo, whichever comes first).
Thanks for the prompt reply, great maintainership there.
Running zol on Debian Jessie. No special configuration. The machine has only 1.7GB RAM, so low memory situations happen. It's used as a media center (running transmission, kodi and openvpn, mostly).
I tried to deduplicate this bug report but couldn't find any that matched exactly, although
zio_vdev_io_start
occurs in a lot of these reports.Anything that tries to do anything to the filesystem in question just hangs. Luckily, my root isn't ZFS at the moment, so I could login and gather some data :). Anything I should try?
