This issue serves as a checklist for the release event.

• [x] Check that dependencies have been updated to latest version (especially python-scraper lib)
• [x] Adjust version in __about__.py to x.x.x (remove -devx suffix)
• [x] Update Github milestone to match the issues that will be released

• [x] Update the Changelog so that it is in line with the content of Github milestone

• [x] Create a Github release, pointing to the tag, with the Changelog of this release
• [x] Publish the Github release (this will trigger the CI, if the CI fails and you have to push a minor fix which does not justify to create a new version, you will have to delete the release and re-create it from scratch)

• [x] Check that version is published on Github Container Registry at https://ghcr.io/openzim/freecodecamp and tagged latest

how do I use https://github.com/openzim/freecodecamp/releases .zip as zim ?

Github releases are containing the source code of the software used to build the ZIMs (what we call "scrapers" even if they usually do not "scrape" the websites as a web spider would do). You cannot use this as a ZIM (even if only one letter differentiate them, they are totally different things, software in the ZIP, content in the ZIM).

ZIMs are not hosted in Github releases but at https://download.kiwix.org/zim, with a nice exploration frontend at https://library.kiwix.org

Freecodecamp ZIM is not yet there because it is not ready for publication (we still have some integration work to do + some content checks).

This release 1.1.1 will only modify the scraper source code to do this integration work.

Some notes on release:

• scraperlib stays at 3.1.1 (upgrade will be done later, I do not want to take a risk of interference with a recent scraperlib release, fcc scraper should be working asap in the zimfarm)
