On a course page like https://geo.libretexts.org/Courses/Coastline_College/An_Introduction_To_Geology_-_Coastline_College/01%3A_Understanding_Science/1.02%3A_The_Scientific_Method, we have references with only a number in line (e.g search for [4]) and full reference at the bottom of the page.

These links / references are not working at all.

Note that this seems to use anchor tags, but these are missing as well to work properly

The quick fix seems to simply totally remove the link in such situations. The references at the bottom of the page are correct anyway, even in cross-courses scenarii
