There is a bunch of wikis running on that mediawiki competitor, it would be a neat addition to our portfolio.

A link to its website?

Popolechien commented 4 years ago

https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence

kelson42 commented 4 years ago

All of this is closed source. But the link above presents the product. Really corporate wiki solution.

Popolechien commented 4 years ago

Well that's also my question: can we produce a scraper for a website that is closed source? If yes, what are the extra hurdles?

kelson42 commented 4 years ago

@Popolechien Bot things are not related at all (in 99% of the cases). The problem is more pragmatic, how to develop a scraper against a solution we don't have a free access to?

Popolechien commented 4 years ago

Well there's free access for <10 users https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/pricing There's also the possibility of installing a free trial server version for 30 days: https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/download
