Hit first initial page but I cannot search any books or even browse past landing page

Well, in download.kiwix.org, the latest Gutenberg's appear to be no later than 2023-08, over a year ago, and the Spanish one I just downloaded seems to work fine. Are you talking about some other version(s)?

En all version both the 80g and the 70g both do the same thing I can view very first page and then I got nothing when I try to click next page or search for books

Maybe you have a corrupted ZIM? Seems to be working fine here: https://library.kiwix.org/viewer#gutenberg_en_all_2023-08/Home.html .

If you downloaded with torrenting software, do a force recheck, and then it will check the file hash, and re-download/overwrite any sectors that don't compute.

@tprice0424 can you explain a bit more which reader you are using? If you use library.kiwix.org, then which browser (version) on which OS (version)

Gutenberg ZIMs are not updated due to a serious problem in the scraper as indicated at https://github.com/openzim/gutenberg, and we are struggling to secure financing to repair it for the moment.

But 2023-08 ZIMs are supposed (and known) to work well, so you are probably in a corner case interesting to investigate.
