Please use the following format for a ZIM creation request (and delete unnecessary information)

@ducmatgoctoanlyhoa We can build a selection but the way we work is via Wikiprojects (as listed on article talk pages) - can you please list all wikiprojects that you would want to see included ?

ducbadatcs commented 1 year ago

Sorry, I misclicked and got a new issue instead of responding to current ones. Anyway, @Popolechien can I just send a list of them like this? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Directory/Science,_technology,_and_engineering_WikiProjects

Popolechien commented 1 year ago

I would probably leave Transportationout of the list but other than that we should be good.

We are currently building a easier selection tool, it's in the final stages and probably a good project to test it on.

@uriesk has extended the MWoffliner --articleList to allow many (comma separated) values. Wonder if this works with URLs, then we could do that directly in Zimfarm. I need to check.

uriesk commented 1 year ago

no it doesn't, but we can add that feature

kelson42 commented 1 year ago

@uriesk This would help to fix easily part of https://github.com/openzim/mwoffliner/issues/1729 as well. For the moment we have to build and refresh these concatenated list in third party infrastructure.

As discussed, I'll tag this issue as upstream till the solution is implemented. @benoit74 can you check the status please of the feature mentioned above by @uriesk ?

benoit74 commented 8 months ago

@kelson42 mentioned it is now possible to pass URL to select articles, so you can probably create the recipe (I don't get what you will pass as articleList exactly, but it should be possible to pass URLs in this list now)
