Wallpaper problems

I am trying to add a custom wallpaper into my GX mod, the code itself works but the wallpaper doesn't work, only the wallpaper I choose as my gx background appears, I went to settings to check if the wallpaper page had the "modded" text over it, but it wasn't there I also tried to put animated wallpapers but they didn't work as well Any help would be appreciated

Something similar happened to me just a few hours ago but I managed to fix it as follows: Delete the custom background you have from Opera GX, close Opera and reopen it, choose a custom wallpaper directly from your files with the "Add wallpaper" function and there it should give you the option to place your mod's wallpaper

I also spent a long time trying to get animated wallpapers to work. What I did to fix it is turning off the "Early Bird" setting in opera://settings/early_bird Assuming the code works properly (like you said) this could fix it. Let me know if this works ))
