can you make it so the app outputs controls from icontrolpad to use same as
xperia play. so we can use all the apps with xperia only controls. because at
the moment the nubs do no work on them

Does the buttons work? I have had a report that claims that the buttons do not
work.

Is there a free game I can test with?

the dpad works most of the time and buttons only work sometimes. L1 and R1
sometimes work. it depends on the game

Death worm supports xperia play so hopefully the free version does as well, but
does not work with icontrolpad as it does not recognized the nub input (no
other buttons used)

h_result

Evac is the only xperia play game where the left nub works (also dpad)

minecraft pocket Demo: dpad, L&R and a few buttons work but nubs dont.

.apk

the nubs on xperia play must output slightly different to the icontrolpad.

any updates on this?

I have been looking at the analog nubs, and it seems that they are sent using a
"generic motion event":
http://developer.android.com/reference/android/view/Window.Callback.html#dispatc
hGenericMotionEvent(android.view.MotionEvent)

Unfortuantely, there does not seem to be any way to send such a message without
having root access.

That's annoying, can you still add it as there are lots of root user out there?

It is probably possible to do so, but I have not looked into it.
Given the amount of spare time I have right now, it is unlikely that I will get
around to it soon.

thanks for the response. And hopefully you will be able to do it sometime in
the future. Bluezime is a amazing app without it icontrolpad would be pretty
useless IMO. :)

Btw, latest version has "modifiers".
It looks like "ALT + BACK" button maps to Xperia circle on some games (others
work with just "BACK").

I have just seen that there is now an app that can make any BluezIME controller
send hardware buttons presses and analog data. That should make any Bluez IME
controller able to act like a Xperia controller, but it requires Android 3.1
and a rooted device:

bler

It is not free, but cheap. I have no affiliation with the author of the app.
