I can understand the reasoning behind this change, but I'm wondering if we can avoid hassling existing installations too much.
Can we improve the documentation or add this is a release note task somewhere so that users will know what broke and how to fix it in the next release?
We have decided not to change the default. A fix for the issue is added in a troubleshooting section in #24.
This is a change that will reduce problems for new installations.
I'm not sure how to handle this kind of change for existing installations, however. If an existing installation was to pull this then the DB would stop working.
