Vontar / HK1 X3 - OpenVFD not working #2121

Closed d5stick closed 4 months ago

d5stick commented 4 months ago

**Device Information |

SOC: [S905x3]

Model [Vontar X3, RAM 4GB, EMMC 128GB]

Kernel Version:

Armbian OS 24.2.0 Bookworm with Linux 6.6.18-ophub meson-sm1-hk1box-vontar-x3.dtb

Describe the problem in detail and attach screenshots if necessary.

After reinstallation of Armbian from scratch to EMMC the OpenVFD does not work anymore. Updating the openVFD did not solve the issue Tried option 15 and 16, but got both replies that files were missing.

Has the DTB been changed and caused openVFD to stop working?

While working on it, I changed to kernel 6.1.80 from Flippy and it started working.

@ophub Are the OpenVFD libraries missing in the Stable Kernel 6.6.18?
