Essentially the tutorial teaching you types matter, the battle doesn't begin. Just a white screen.

Saving before the battle? Yeah I can do that. But the sending of said save file eludes me.

What emulator do you use?

Desmume

Go to the folder where desmume is. you'll see a folder there named Battery. The save file is in there, called RomName.dsv

one more thing what randomizer settings did you use?

Randomized fossils and teams. Otherwise kept it the same. PGV in teams was a no. 105, 114, 119 for PGV wasn't changed, and team level change was a 0.

Rupert fight started, it went through like normal, fight conceded and game has resumed! Thanks!
