Hi,
The work flow is simple: change the interface settings and save, but do not apply. Go to DHCP for the interface. Adjust ranges and save. Then apply the changes from the interface settings page.
Anticipating what the user wants for all attached components when the network is changes is not workable.
Cheers, Franco

Describe the bug
I recently updated my firewall IP from default 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.x.1. After this change, I was not able to connect to the firewall. I had to manually configure my client IP to 192.168.x.100 to connect to opnsense firewall. I went inside the ISC DHCP[v4] settings for my LAN interface and found that the range was still 192.168.1.100-192.168.1.199 instead of 192.168.x.100-192.168.x.199. I have worked with opnsense for a long time, and I never faced this issue. Please look into it.
