Surprisingly, this limitation is also in X100t, which is the same generation as X-T10 and X-E2 which allows setting of full range of shutter speeds by rear dial if shutter speed knob is on T. Consistency probably doesn't mean much to the Fujifilm engineers...
On 1st generation cameras X-Pro1 and X-E1 when shutter speed knob is on T, you can only select shutter speeds 2 seconds or longer and only using the D-pad ⬅ and ➡. It can't be too difficult to allow setting the entire range of shutter speeds 1/4000-30s for those who prefer setting shutter speed using the rear command dial or D-pad in 1/3 increments.
