An early idea that we had for Oppia Android was to put a link in the sidebar that invites users to contribute and help out (e.g. with translations, lesson fixes, design, possibly even donations). This could also explain a bit about how Oppia is a community-driven project and encourage more people to give back to their communities.
The link should probably go to a screen in the Oppia app that describes how Oppia is community-supported and explaining ways to help out, then linking to (say) the Volunteer page on the Oppia website.
The aim of this issue is to design that screen and its entrypoint. Note that we should do feedback studies for this feature before launching it, to check whether the idea resonates at all and that the screen covers what people want to see.
Context for the request
This is a new feature that doesn't exist yet. It is also just an idea at this stage, and we do not know if it will be well-received (but we think it might!).
