Description of the task

EvaFunsho commented 1 month ago

Hi @yigakpoa So I think we might experience some blockers here in terms of how best to get access to the target audience for the survey. I was wondering if there's like a database of users (parents, volunteers, donors, educational institutions) that we can have access to. It will help us approach the survey with clarity, targeting the right audience and asking the right questions to gather actionable insights.

Seeing that the aim of the survey would be to gauge awareness, brand sentiment, and overall perceptions of Oppia’s mission, values, and offerings, I think it's best we look into our data base of users, if possible.

Or if you have any other suggestions on how to go about it, I'd appreciate if you share. Thank you

Hi @EvaFunsho

Thank you for your feedback on the brand audit task. I understand the challenge of accessing the target audience, and while leveraging a database of users could be beneficial, there are other effective approaches we can consider. So i’ll give you two:

  1. Leverage Online Forums/groups: Utilize platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and relevant forums to conduct surveys or gather feedback. For instance, creating targeted posts in educational or volunteering groups can attract participants who are aligned with our audience.

  2. Host Individual Webinars or Virtual Focus Groups: PR/ Marketing team for a reason! Organize online events with your immediate network where participants can provide feedback in real-time. For example, hosting a webinar on topics related to Oppia’s mission and incorporating live polls or breakout discussions can help gather valuable insights.

By considering these alternatives, we can effectively conduct the brand audit and gather actionable feedback without solely relying on an internal database.

Lastly, remember that when it comes to teaching children maths, everyone is our target audience…

Let me know if you need further assistance or if you'd like to explore any of these options in more detail.
